Description

The Sunrise Unification Observatory is located at the northernmost point of South Korea. Commissioned by the South Korean government, its design and location encourages its visitors to reflect on the division between North and South Korea and the potential for a future reunification. The observatory is comprised of a reinforced concrete and steel structure clad in a combination of anodized aluminium panels and low-emissive (Low-e) double-glazed glass panels
